Satori & Centering in the Hara
with Chandrakala and Ganga
Duration: 10 days

calligraphyThis retreat will combine the self-inquiry of the koan practice from the Satori process with methods of Centering in the Hara. This will give support to fully embody being herenow in action. It allows us to be present and pulsating with the life force energy in the gravity center Hara – our foundation.

Two legs and a belly, two arms and a heart, a spine to connect earth and sky, a head to realize the polarity of yin/yang as one life energy. All is experienced as one connected reality from the moving center to the feeling center up to the thinking center; body to essence – form to emptiness.

buddhaIn the Centering in the Hara part we will use grounding movements, conscious breathing , centering exercises, Hara awareness meditation. The aim is to find relaxation in action and alertness in relaxation. We will practice how to maintain the connection between inner and outer reality, how to move with the flow and stay centered in one self at the same time.

During the Satori part we use a life koan for self-inquiry. We connect with our ressources and enjoy ourselves more fully, diving deep and flying high. We discover how cool it is to be ourselves.

We start 9am on 3rd and end lunchtime on 13th.

‘The body has to be accepted first, not only accepted but respected too.
If you have not explored your body you will not be able to explore the soul. The methodology of exploration is the same but begin with the body because the body is the visible part of your soul. Start with the visible and then slowly move towards the invisible.
Start from the periphery and then go deeper towards the center.
